We’ve recently had the opportunity to travel to the United States—one of the reasons I’ve been a little quiet these past few weeks. We arrived back home on Sunday afternoon, and while I’m still battling jetlag, my heart feels full. I’m deeply grateful for the wonderful memories, the incredible places we explored, and the life lessons learned from traveling to America.

As I sit here reflecting, I can’t help but notice how much travel expands your mindset. There really is something magical about America—their gratitude and abundance mindset, their flair for creating unforgettable experiences, and their genuine appreciation for customers. It struck me as a culture that not only dreams big but also believes deeply that anything is possible.


Choosing Gratitude and an Abundance Mindset Daily

Today, as I reflect, I’m reminded of the importance of gratitude—not just in the big moments but in the everyday. Gratitude shifts perspective. It grounds us in what we already have while opening the door to more possibilities. Pairing that with an abundant mindset feels like the key to breaking through limits and thinking bigger about what is possible in life, creativity, and business.

I’m challenging myself to:

  • Practice daily gratitude to stay motivated and hopeful, especially when things feel difficult.
  • Think bigger and allow myself to explore ideas without placing artificial limits on them.
  • Expand my vision by daring to ask, What if it’s possible?

Lessons from Kennedy’s Space Speech: Doing the Hard Things

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Kennedy Space Center. There, I was introduced to President John F. Kennedy’s iconic 1962 speech where he declared:

“We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy but because they are hard.”

Those words hit me with fresh force. Why do we choose to do what we do? Do we choose the easy path—or do we take on the hard things because they shape us and stretch us?

For me, the answer lies in mindset. To take on the hard things, I’ll need to keep an abundance mindset and fuel it with gratitude. That combination provides the courage to keep going, even when the journey feels uncertain or difficult.


Thinking Bigger: Challenging Limits with Gratitude and Abundance

As I integrate the lessons of this trip, I want to carry that spirit of abundance and gratitude into my daily life. I want to challenge myself to live bigger, dream beyond what feels comfortable, and remember that limits are often self-imposed.

The United States gave me more than memories—it gave me a reminder: we are capable of far more than we often allow ourselves to believe. And sometimes, the best way to unlock that potential is to stay grateful, think bigger, and keep choosing the “hard things” that grow us.
